  • Geolocation data – used to generate a list of users you have crossed paths with. This data is automatically deleted after 24 hours.
  • Messages – we store messages exchanged between users to facilitate communication. Messages are retained as long as your account exists.
  • Profile information – including your photo, email, and birthday.
    • Your email and birthday remain private and are not shared with other users.
    • Your birthday is used to verify that you are at least 18 years old.
  • Error and crash reports – we collect technical data (device model, OS version, app version, error logs) to diagnose and fix issues. This data does not include the content of your messages or your precise location.
  • Website analytics – we collect anonymous usage statistics on our website (pages visited, referrer, country). No personal data or cookies are used.

2. How we use your data

  • Provide a list of users you have crossed paths with.
  • Facilitate user matching and improve our services.
  • Ensure compliance with our 18+ age requirement.
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues.
  • Analyze anonymous website usage to improve our service.

The legal basis for processing your data is your consent (for geolocation tracking), the performance of our service (for profile information and messages), and our legitimate interest (for error tracking and website analytics).

3. Data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except when legally required for law enforcement purposes.

Your data is hosted in France by OVHcloud (ovhcloud.com), a European cloud provider.

We use the following European service providers to operate our service:

  • Sentry (sentry.io) – error tracking, hosted in the EU (Germany).
  • Plausible (plausible.io) – website analytics, hosted in the EU. No cookies, no personal data collected.

No data is transferred outside the European Union.

4. User rights & data deletion

  • You can delete your profile at any time through the "Me" tab in the app.
  • Once deleted, all your data will be permanently removed within 90 days.
  • Request access to your personal data.
  • Request to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, in particular for geolocation tracking.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

5. Data security

We take privacy seriously and follow GDPR principles:

  • We only store necessary data.
  • Session data is encrypted on your device.
  • We do not store passwords in our database.
  • We use TLS encryption and state-of-the-art security technologies to protect your information.

6. Age restriction

Our app is strictly for users 18 years and older. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use our services.

7. Tracking & cookies

  • We do not use cookies.
  • Our app uses background geolocation tracking to generate a list of users you have crossed paths with, even when not actively in use.
  • You will be asked to grant permission for location tracking on your device.

8. Policy updates

We may update this privacy policy at any time. In case of significant changes, we will notify users via the app or by email. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
